Universal Nutrition's Animal Nitro - Product Review  Hot

Description

Ultimate Nutrition’s Animal Nitro delivers a breakthrough complex of aminos called Human Muscle Protein Complex (HMPC). HMPC contains the correct ratio of amino acids found in human muscle protein. HMPC includes only individual or “uncoupled” aminos that are free of the chemical bonds that can limit maximum uptake and utilization. This accelerates amino transport, delivering more nutrients to working muscles. Animal Nitro has 8 essential amino acids (histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, valine) plus arginine, a conditionally essential amino acid. Essential amino acids can’t be made by the body. They can only be derived from protein foods (such as red meat and dairy products) or dietary supplements.

Animal Nitro’s novel amino transport system delivers a precisely controlled amount of uncoupled aminos (HMPC). Once HMPC is digested it forms a protective bolus (therapeutic amino mass) that allows the uncoupled aminos to bypass the liver. Amino acids are usually processed in the liver and converted to urea (a waste product). Instead, the HMPC uncoupled aminos can quickly enter the system and reach their target muscles.

Ultimate Nutrition’s Alpha Testing Program studied the effect of Animal Nitro supplementation on 57 strength training athletes for three weeks. The researchers found that the average bench press increased by 4.7 percent (13 lb), the average deadlift increased by 5.4 percent (18.07 lb), the average squat increased by 5.9 percent (21.52 lb), bodyfat was decreased by 0.9 percent and lean muscle was increased by 0.78 lb. Furthermore, 49 percent of the participants reported better recovery after a workout, 68 percent reported increased strength, 48 percent reported more energy and 37 percent reported less fatigue.

Pros

Ultimate Nutrition’s Animal Nitro’s accelerated amino transport system exclusively delivers 100 percent uncoupled aminos (HMPC). When combined with resistance training, Animal Nitro can deliver more aminos to working muscles and promote maximum muscle growth, recovery and performance.

The nutrients in Animal Nitro have numerous benefits including:

  • Promotes muscle building by enhancing protein synthesis
  • Improves net muscle protein balance
  • Enhances fast recovery
  • Prevents muscle breakdown
  • Improves physical performance

Cons

Uncoupled aminos may seem fairly expensive to some consumers. Ultimate Nutrition recommends taking 2 Animal Nitro packs daily. Since there are 44 packs per container, the packs will last only 22 days. However, athletes and weight lifters who take their training seriously may find that the results are worth the price, delivering optimum benefits.

Although few side effects have been reported with the short-term use of amino acids, mega-dosing may result in potential side effects. This may include excess nitrogen to excreted as urea in urine, which has been linked with reduced kidney function.

People with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), depression, Reye’s Syndrome, kidney or liver disease should not supplement with amino acids without consulting a physician.

Be aware that some drugs may interact with the nutrients in Animal Nitro including:

  • Chemotherapy
  • Cisplatin
  • Cyclophosphamide
  • Docetaxel
  • Fluorouracil
  • Methotrexate
  • Paclitaxel

Is it for you?

If you’re an athlete or body builder wanting an extra edge, Animal Nitro was designed for you. According to Ultimate Nutrition’s testing results, you can make meaningful gains in your benchpress, deadlift and squat. Animal Nitro can help increase strength, improve recovery and reduce fatigue for improved training efficiency.

However, people with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), depression, Reye’s Syndrome, kidney or liver disease should not supplement with amino acids without consulting a physician.

Dosage and Directions

For optimum results, take 2 packs daily. Take 1 pack immediately before resistance training and 1 pack within 30 minutes after lifting. If you use a post-training protein shake, wait at least another 30 to 45 minutes after you’ve taken the Animal Nitro pack before drinking your shake. Animal Nitro should be taken on an empty stomach so that it won’t compete for assimilation with amino acids present in the food you are eating. You can take Animal Nitro with 8 oz of fruit juice. Store in a cool dry place away from excessive heat, moisture, or sunlight.
