Description
Twinlab’s Omega-3 Fish Oil features pure fish oil derived from deep sea cold water fish. Omega-3 Fish Oil is high in biologically active omega 3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). EPA and DHA are precursors to beneficial prostaglandins that act as hormone-like regulatory compounds. Research suggests that fish oil omega 3s can relieve pain and help arthritis as well as promote good health.
Thousands of studies suggest that omega 3s offer a range of health benefits including heart health, anti-inflammatory effects, healthy mental function, hormonal regulation, joint health and weight management. Omega 3s are considered essential fatty acids because the body can’t make them from other substances and they must be supplied by the diet. The modern diet is often deficient in omega 3 fatty acids, so fish oil supplementation can have important nutritional benefits.
Omega-3 fatty acids can relieve pain and help arthritis by reducing inflammation and improving joint function. Research suggests that people with rheumatoid arthritis have decreased levels of omega 3s. Omega-3 rich foods or supplements can help reduce joint pain and the amount of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) prescribed for patients with arthritis.
One study, published in Surgical Neurology, found that fish oil omega 3s can offer therapeutic benefits to patients with nonsurgical neck or back pain. The authors report that the effect of fish oil was comparable to ibuprofen without the adverse effects. They conclude that fish oil is a safer treatment for neck and back pain than NSAID medications.

I highly recommend taking this supplement because it is good for the body especially the heart, I've been taking this also because I want to loose weight and maintain a healthy body. My in-laws are also taking this supplement because they are already in their golden age and has some joint pain so taking this is beneficial to them. I know that some tuna fish has some omega 3 too but you have to consume a lot of tuna fish to take the full effect of omega 3. Taking this is better I guess.
