Primaforce's CEE - Product Review
|
DescriptionPrimaforce's CEE features a newer, more advanced class of creatine product - creatine ethyl ester. Creatine Ethyl Ester is creatine monohydrate with an attached ester (an organic compound formed by esterification) to enhance creatine absorption and utilization within the body. Creatine Ethyl Ester is an exceptionally soluble form of creatine that maximizes creatine concentrations in the muscles. Creatine is a naturally occurring metabolite found in muscle tissue that provides energy to muscles. However, creatine monohydrate is insoluble, creating problems with supplementation. Esterified creatines, such as Primaforce's CEE, maximize creatine absorption into the body's cells by utilizing fat as a transport mechanism. Creatine Ethyl Ester penetrates the muscle cells resulting in substantially more functional creatine. Therefore, lower amounts of Creatine Ethyl Ester are needed to saturate muscle cells, eliminating the need for a mega "loading" phase. Over 200 independent studies suggest that creatine builds muscle, enhances muscle energy levels, reduces muscle fatigue and improves athletic performance. Athletes and bodybuilders may develop low muscle stores of creatine after high intensity exercise. One study found that creatine supplementation improved the time of intense running to exhaustion by 13 percent. Another study showed that creatine supplementation lowered the "oxygen cost" of aerobic work, indicating less strain was placed on the cardiovascular system. ProsPrimaforce's CEE is lab tested for potency and purity. Primaforce utilizes ethyl ester technology to create an advanced form of creatine that more efficiently penetrates the muscle cell, resulting in significantly more functional creatine. High doses of creatine monohydrate can cause side effects such as water retention. Since creatine attracts water to cells, unabsorbed creatine monohydrate can remain outside cells and cause bloating, dehydration and cramping. CEE's lower dosage requirements prevents the infamous "creatine bloat". The nutrients in CEE have the following benefits:
ConsHigh doses of creatine are associated with side effects such as stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, bloating and muscle cramping. Pregnant or lactating women or people with kidney disease should not supplement with creatine. No drug interractions have been reported at this time. Is it for you?If you're an athlete, bodybuilder or exerciser enthusiast and want to improve your muscle power, performance and recovery without the creatine bloat, CEE may be for you. However, pregnant or lactating women or people with kidney disease should not supplement with creatine. Dosage and Directions
Some studies support creatine cycling and others do not. For best results, consume ten 8 oz. glasses of water daily.
