Description

Labrada's CreaLean contains 100 percent pure pharmaceutical grade, contaminant-free creatine monohydrate. Each batch is independent lab assayed for purity. Creatine is one of the most popular and commonly used sports supplements used today. Creatine has been used by professional and amateur athletes and bodybuilders for years to build muscle power and promote higher workout intensity and performance.

Creatine is a naturally occurring metabolite produced in the body from the amino acids glycine, arginine, and methionine. Creatine is used in muscle tissue for the production of ATP (adenosine triphospate), the source of energy for muscular contraction. If creatine muscle stores are low, energy for exercise and recovery is diminished. Creatine supplementation can help increase available muscle energy and power for exercise, training and athletic performance.

Over 200 independent studies suggest that creatine monohydrate builds muscle, enhances cellular energy levels, reduces muscle fatigue and improves athletic performance. One study found that creatine supplementation improved the time of intense running to exhaustion by 13 percent. Another study showed that creatine supplementation lowered the "oxygen cost" of aerobic work, indicating less strain was placed on the cardiovascular system. This suggests that creatine may promote increased workout intensity.

Pros

During the manufacture of creatine, contaminants such as dicyandiamide and dihydrotriazines are produced. Labrada's quality guarantee promises that CreaLean is lab tested 100 percent contaminant-free. Since large doses of creatine are required for prolonged periods of time, a pure creatine product such as CreaLean is essential for optimal results.

The nutrients in Complete Creatine Powder have the following benefits:

  • Builds muscle power
  • Promotes higher workout intensity
  • Increases ATP muscle energy production
  • Improves athletic performance

Cons

Insufficient screening for contaminants during creatine manufacturing can be a cause for concern, so obtain creatine products from a reputable company such as Labrada.

Stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea and muscle cramping have been reported with high doses of creatine monohydrate.

Powdered creatine monohydrate products such as CreaLean require large "loading" doses to ensure complete assimilation in the body. Large doses of powdered creatine are associated with side effects such as water retention. Since creatine attracts water to cells, unabsorbed creatine monohydrate can remain outside cells and cause bloating, dehydration and cramping.

Pregnant or lactating women or people with kidney disease should not supplement with creatine.

No drug interactions have been reported at this time.

Is it for you?

If you're a professional or amateur athlete or body builder supplementing with CreaLean may give you the positive results you're looking for.

However, pregnant or lactating women or people with kidney disease should not supplement with creatine.
