Dymatize's BCAA Complex 2200 - Product Review  Hot

Description

Dymatize’s BCAA Complex 2200 is specially formulated to provide a gradual release of branched chain amino acids plus nutritional cofactors over a prolonged period of time. This unique formula contains pure, naturally occurring branched chain amino acids leucine, valine and isoleucine, as well as immune-supporting vitamin C and amino-supporting vitamin B6 and riboflavin.

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and are essential for many physiological functions. Muscle fibers are made up of branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) leucine, valine and isoleucine. BCAAs provide muscle energy and repair muscle tissue. They also play an important role in mood, concentration, attention and mental performance. BCAAs are essential amino acids that can only be derived from protein foods (such as red meat and dairy products) or dietary supplements.

Vitamins B6 and riboflavin (vitamin B2) support BCAA production and breakdown. They also work together to enhance energy and form the fuel the body runs on – adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that neutralizes harmful free radicals (toxic molecules that cause damage to cells) associated with the development of degenerative diseases, heart disease, cancer and aging. This water-soluble vitamin helps keep the immune system functioning optimally.

Taking a BCAA supplement such as Dymatize’s BCAA Complex 2200 helps maximize muscle regeneration, boost immunity and enhance mental and physical performance.

Pros

Dymatize’s BCAA Complex 2200 is offered in convenient, time-release caplets formulated to steadily release BCAA’s over time. A great advantage is that time-release caplets keep steadier levels of BCAA in the bloodstream than an instant-release formulation. You’ll get more value for your money with Dymatize’s BCAA Complex 2200.

Studies have found that the nutrients in BCAA Complex 2200 have numerous benefits including:

  • Maximizes muscle regeneration following exercise
  • Boosts immunity
  • Supports mood, concentration and attention
  • Enhances physical performance

Cons

At supplemental and dietary levels, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and riboflavin are nontoxic. However, neurological side effects can occur with a vitamin B6 dosage higher than 200 mg. Vitamin C may produce a laxative effect and stomach upset in certain people.

People with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), depression, Reye’s Syndrome, heart, kidney or liver disease should not supplement with amino acids without consulting a physician.
