Description

CytoSport's Collegiate Muscle Milk provides an excellent source of protein, carbohydrates and fats designed to enhance athletic performance. This calorie replacement drink mix delivers CytoCarb II 100% complex carbohydrates, Evo-Pro protein matrix, Lean Lipids complex (MCTs), and CytoVite 1 essential vitamins and minerals. Collegiate Muscle Milk is formulated for athletes to insure optimum nutrition to help increase lean muscle mass, prevent overtraining, aid in reducing injury and increase energy to working muscles.

Collegiate Muscle Milk's CytoCarb II contains complex carbohydrate, 97% fat free maltodextrins. These 100% complex carbs help preserve muscle glycogen (stored energy) levels to decrease muscle fatigue and extend endurance and performance. Maltodextrins help prevent muscle breakdown after workouts and support nitrogen retention (stored muscle protein).

The advanced protein matrix in Collegiate Muscle Milk's Evo-Pro includes
whey concentrates, isolates and peptides, micellar caseins and Aminogen.
Its whey and casein protein blend is designed to mimic human milk benefits including increased lean muscle gain and rapid post training recovery. Aminogen is a naturally derived, patented plant enzyme that aids in protein digestion and assimilation.

Lean Lipids is a trans fat free complex including MCT lipids (fat molecules) that promote leanness while retaining muscle energy. MCTs are medium chain fatty acids that are more easily digested than larger fat molecules and more likely burned for muscle energy than stored as fat.

Pros

Collegiate Muscle Milk is in full compliance with the Committee on Competitive Safeguards and Medical Aspects of Sports Standards and contains no banned substances. Collegiate Muscle Milk has the following benefits:
  • 40 grams of high quality protein promote nitrogen retention
  • 100% complex carbohydrate maltodextrins preserve muscle glycogen
  • MCTs enhance muscle energy and leanness
  • Aminogen plant enzyme aids protein digestion
